Generally, yes PIP plus medpay should pay 100 percent of your bills. However, up to how much bills is the question you will need to look at the policy. Florida PIP, as of January 1, 2013, pays either $2,500 or $10,000, depending upon whether you have an “emergency medical condition.” If you have $5,000 of medical payment coverage (the most common amount, in my experieces), then your insurance would pay 100 percent of the medical bills up to $7500 (if no emergency medical condition) or $15,000 (if you have an emergency medical condition).
