It is not so common but sometimes people in accidents experience some form of hearing loss or ear injury (irregular sound in the ear). This is commonly from the loud sound of a car accident or the loud sound from some other source that has caused the injury
Hearing issues are obviously significant and can have significant value to an injury case.
Clearly, you would want to document the issues as early as possible in the case. Also, you would want to get to a specialist (ENT specialist, audiologist, etc.) for testing and to see if there is anything that can be done to resolve the issue. Diagnostic tests would be very helpful to prove the case and you would want to ask your doctors to have you take diagnostic tests.
In older people and people who have served in the armed forces, proving causation would be harder. But in general if you explain as early in the case as possible to the providers that you are experiencing hearing loss from an accident and have testing done, that will help prove your case.
